The most popular waist width in Liberty's women's freeride category. The award-winning shape remains, and with a new higher-performance core, the Genesis 96 has become even more versatile without losing its signature light and fun feel. The Genesis 96 Skis are a playful all mountain ski with a bit of metal in their core for added stability on the hard pack. Light, springy in bumps and with plenty of float when the snow falls, the Genesis 96 Skis are approachable to skiers of all skill levels. Soft enough to throw tricks yet steady enough to rip corduroy, their high-performance X Core Carbon and VMT1.0W Core delivers with lightweight yet sturdy bamboo stringers and a little metal for added strength. The Genesis 96 is a super versatile and playful all mountain ski. With lots of tip and tail rocker, this ski will float well in fresh snow, plus it's easy to release and flick around quickly in tight terrain. At the same time, with a 96-millimeter waist, this ski will inspire more confidence on firm snow than a wider option. Although not a dedicated touring ski, the Genesis 96 is fairly lightweight and won't be a hassle on the ups. If you're looking for an all-terrain ski that performs well on harder snow and mixed terrain, you'll love the Genesis 96.
