Your Sidekick in Progression and Exploration
The K2 Gateway combines a classic directional twin shape and a progressive Rocker Profile that takes on all comers and is the perfect ally for ripping down open powder fields, perfectly spaced tree runs, or your favorite line in the park. The Gateway Pop's aspen core provides a snappy and playful feel with a mid-flex for quick edge changes through sketchy terrain and pressing on boxes and butters. We use our ICG™ 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for edge hold through choppy terrain and at high speeds and added an Extruded 2000 base to provide a smooth and durable feel that’ll have you leading your crew to the next secret stash. The all-mountain Gateway Pop packs premium tech into an affordable package for leveling up your skillset on any terrain the resort has to offer.
- Profile - Directional Rocker
- Shape - Directional Twin
- Response - 5/10
- Sizes - 150, 153, 156, 157W, 159, 160W, 162, 164W
- Riding Style - All-Mountain
- Rider Ability - Beginner to Intermediate
- Extruded 2000 Base - A low maintenance and smooth gliding base material that’s durable and easy to repair.
- Aspen Core - A single species lightweight wood core that delivers smooth flex and lively rebound.
- ICG™ 10 Biax Glass - Integrating Carbon Fiber stringers that run the length of the board into our fiberglass increases the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.
- HYBRITECH™ Construction - Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech is the most eco-friendly, lightest, and most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess plastic material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass, decreasing the swing weight of the board, and reducing thousands of pounds of plastic needed during the manufacturing process is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary. Boards with Hybritech will spin faster, maneuver easier, and last longer than any other boards on the market.
