- MIPS - MIPS Brain Protection System designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head
- Shell - Built with an aerospace shell design and materials, we were able to get the D4 Composite helmet to 1050 grams without sacrificing any strength
- Cheek Pads - Anatomical "3D" contoured cheek pads with emergency release system for EMS responders
- Liner - Removable snap-in, washable comfort liner with Coolmax and Dri-lex moisture-wicking materials
- EPP - EPP (Expanded PolyPropylene) Chin Bar
- Ventilation - For comfort, the D4 Comp routes cooling air through a front air intake system that flows through the polymer center and power grid side mesh keeping your head cooler during the ride.
