The Liberty Evolv 84 W is a frontside all-mountain ski that provides premium carving performance for ladies that want a powerful ski without the crazy weight. A lot of high-end all-mountain skis often use metal laminates in their construction that provide great stability and power, but at a much heavier profile. A lot goes into the core of this ski and it may seem complicated, but it gives the ski a very smooth feel overall. It starts with a combination of Polar, Bamboo and and Paulownia for a light and responsive baseline flex. Carbon gets aid on top and a thin layer of rubber material gets laid below the core adding both responsiveness and vibration damping to the ski. The Evolv 84 W uses three vertically laminated strips of metal between the wood laminates of the core. These do a great job of reducing vibrations so the ski feels very smooth even at higher speeds. This ski loves tight, quick carves. There isn't much rocker to speak of in this ski's design, but the rocker that is there helps with ease of turn initiation. The Evolve 84 W prefers quick and dynamic turns. A generous sidecut, long effective edge and relatively narrow waist allow you to cut across the fall line on a slalom like arc that starts and finishes very quickly. Ladies with a quick and aggressive ski style will love the Liberty Evolv 84 W.
